The CT scan was done to find out what was wrong. When they had a look they realised that there was a 6cm internal bleed and because of that I had the stroke.

I had a stroke. I was in ICU Vincent Pallotti Hospital for three weeks. I then went to rehabilitation at UCT Hospital for about 2 months.

There is a lot more that I need to right. The ICU is the most important so I will try my best. I find that the stroke is interesting and I will also expand wil the regarding the nurses and the neurosurgeon doctor.

The operation was done on the 18th of March by a neurosurgeon. A small portion of the skull was removed during the operation in order to remove the AVM and bleed. The picture shows afterwards how the skull was put together - you can see the "clips".
