These are some of the documents from the CT Scan.
| 1. CT Scan of the brain (14/03/2004) |
The 4th ventricle is central and contents of the posterior fossa appears normal.
There is slight effacement of the basal cisterns but the cisterns are patent.
There is a 6cm left pariental intracerebral haematoma with evidence of breakthrough into the left lateral ventricle and some blood in the lateral ventricular occipital pole.
There is mass effect and approximatley 8mm of midline shift.

| 2. CT Scan of the brain (17/03/2004) |
|
A non-contrasted CT scan of the brain was performed.
There is a large intracerebral haematoma in the left temporo-parietal lobe. This measures approximately 50 x 35mm in AP and transverse diameter. There is surrounding oedeme, with significant mass effect.
There is compession of the lateral ventricles, with evidence of midline shift ot the right. There is associated mild dilatation of the occipital horns.
A small amount of blood is also noted in the occipital horn of the left lateral ventricle.
There is at least 7mm of midline shift to the right.
A radiopaque marker was placed over the left mid parietal calvarium and the scalp was marked at this level. The haema is approximately 5mm deep to the inner table.

| 3. CT Scan of the brain (06/09/2004) |
|
History - Previous AVM. Left deep parietal removed.
Axial scans from base of skull to vertex without contrast.
The 4th ventricle is central and contents of the posterior fossa appears normal.
The basal cistern are patent.
The post surgical left parietal defect is noted with ex vacuo dilatation of the ipsi lateral ventricle.
There is no evidence of any intra or extra axial haematoma and no hydrocephalus.
No new lesion has been demonstrated.
